Carolyn Tynes-Turner was born in Truro, Nova Scotia. After obtaining her secondary education in Halifax (B.A., B.Ed. From Dalhousie and M.A. in Education from Saint Mary’s), she moved to Alberta, pursued a teaching career and completed courses required for a Ph.D. (Education) from Commonwealth Open University.

Presently, Carolyn teaches writing skills from her home and writes about topics related to the Bible. Carolyn and her husband, Flexon, have a son, Cory, a daughter, Jessica, a daughter-in-law, Tanya, and a granddaughter, Kyla.
