As an adoptee herself who grew up in the 60's in Atlantic Canada, Dianne Palovcik was inspired to write In Trouble and bring this hidden part of Canadian history to life for a new generation.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University, an education certificate from the University of Alberta Faculty of Education, an employment training specialist certificate from the University of San Francisco, and a travel writing certificate from Lakeland College. Dianne worked with People with Disabilities for more than 20 years, and co-authored a training course for Human Service workers in Alberta.
Dianne and her husband live in Alberta.
