Every time I go hiking, even on trails I’ve hiked many times, there is always something different and refreshing. Every time I drive through the mountains, the views are unique.
I hope that as you go through the pages of this photo book, you can imagine being in these beautiful places. Or perhaps you will remember your own experiences there.
I have included several photographs of scenes along the Icefield Parkway because my wife and I often use David Thompson Country as a base for hiking those nearby trails. Some of the more outstanding views of the Canadian Rockies are within a 30-minute drive of David Thompson Country. Their proximity enhances the trip.
