We cannot see light. It may be all around us, but light itself is invisible. When you shine a beam of light through a prism – a triangular piece of glass – white light turns into a rainbow of colour. We cannot see God, though God’s love is all around us. That love becomes visible to us when people exercise their God given gifts. The qualities of leadership, planning, communicating, caring, discernment, spirituality, mentoring, and artistic creativity are gifts that reveal the love of God. That is why this resource is called Prisms – it reveals the gifts that reveal God. (Note): Joyce Madsen and Clair Woodbury serve as the staff team at the Congregational Life Centre.
