"Abdominal cancer… less than a year." 27-year-old Deb Klein's life was busy, rewarding and full of plans. When the doctor delivered his verdict, it felt as if a truck had just plowed into her. "… less than a year." What about her goal of reaching the top level of Canadian Kennel Club's obedience competition with her dog, Dru? What about her plans to have Dru bred, to raise a litter of puppies? Would there be enough time? "I'll be around longer than they think." Witty, generous, single-minded, fiercely independent, Deb Klein refused to let cancer steal her dreams. But could she reach those dreams by herself? SEASONS OF COURAGE is the true story of a young woman and her dogs, of friends and their unwavering loyalty, of determination and courage in the face of cancer.
