Midwest Calendar story:
She was taking pictures around home—this and that. The camera was always in her hands. So, I asked my grand daughter, Kailee, if she might be interested in working on a calendar with me. She was.
So we started driving the Midwest country roads. From Lloydminster to Vermilion to Elk Point, and on to Turtleford and Maidstone. This road, that road. Stopping here and there to frame our snaps.
We repeated these tours in Spring and Summer, Fall and Winter. We learned a thing or two and found some surprises—like an outhouse hiding in the trees or a coyote den.
Then, I gave her my picture file along with my poetry file.
She drew what she wanted from her file and mine and designed this neat Midwest Calendar. Nice job, eh?
