The Pocket Intercessor’s Healing Journey

The Pocket Intercessor’s Healing Journey is my life story. As a child and teenager I survived several acts of violence. It is a miracle that I survived, and where I ended up in society, however, the painful memories plagued me my whole adult life. I came to know Jesus at 18 years old, and my world changed forever. I felt loved by God for the first time, though I was still a mess on the inside. I’d read in the bible about God saying the lame shall walk, the blind shall see, and the broken-hearted shall be healed, and I heard many pastors preach sermons about this topic. I do believe God heals broken-hearted men and women today. I have prayed on others’ behalf over and over again. Many of my friends who were broken-hearted were healed by Jesus. A crisis during mid-life made me seek professional help for the first time. I never dreamed that this brokenhearted man from humble beginnings could be set free. My God’s healing journey for me, Terry, was about to begin. My faith, courage, and strength to walk with my God carried me though the inner pain to the other side and peace from my past. This is my story.
