Excerpt from Toads Through The Ages: Hobbly And Wobbly Rescue in Nottingham by Angela Haine:
Hobbly and Wobbly were two little toads, they danced down the pavement singing of odes of knights, oh so brave, and ladies with charm.
And giants and dragons which caused such alarm! And oh, how they craved and wished they were able to be one of the favored among the Round Table.
Said Wobbly “What do we do in this modern Age? I’d be a Knight, and you’d be my Page.” “Not so” quoth good Hobbly, “That’s not in the script.”
A bitter tense moment, and Hobbly just tripped – a nasty abrasion, and bruises so brown. Imagine! A toad, with long legs, falling down.
To bed then he went, and Wobbly him nursed, thinking of Wizards “Zounds! Are we CURSED?”
