Ruth’s most memorable times were found during long summers at the cottage in Bala, Ontario: telling Grimm’s Fairy Tales around the campfire, listening to stories on the radio, dancing in the moonlight at Dunn’s Pavillion, catching spiders and fireflies in a jar that would light up your face. Legend says “Drink from these Muskoka waters and you are destined to return.” May these poems do the same, drawing you back time and time again.

Ruth Adkins is a Canadian poet whose work has been recognized by several publications and organizations, including Pandora’s Box Poetry Showcase and Beginnings Magazine. She has also written two novels: Wait Until Morning and Beyond Your Cornfield.
