Anne Stewart lives in Sturgeon County just outside Edmonton and St.Albert. She has always enjoyed writing but didn’t take up poetry until she was in her sixties. Remarkably, she discovered she enjoys it and seems to have a talent for it. . .and doesn’t need to find a plausible ending as required in fiction. She now calls herself a ‘real’ poet and is a member of the Edmonton Stroll of Poets.

After retiring from a 40 year career as a flight attendant, Anne was lured back into the writing life when a friend took her to Jack Bilsland’s creative writing sessions at Strathcona Place Senior Centre. She frequently takes writing classes, both locally and online, and loves learning about her craft, in an effort to become better at it. With the publication of this book, she wishes to thank all those who have inspired and supported her, with specific thanks to Janet Rolfson, the friend who first took her to Jack Bilsland’s class.
