John Crawley has been involved with publishing and printing for most of his working life. He started in newspapers as an apprentice and later published The Alberta List. After careers as a typographer, a graphic artist, and owner of a printing business, he became a manager with the Printing and Media Services departments at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. For the past ten years, he has worked across Canada and the United States as a consultant with the Print Operations Group of Calgary, Alberta.
Committee work with Reynolds Alberta Museum earned John the prestigious Alberta Premiers Award of Excellence.
John lives at Carvel Corner, Alberta, close to four of his six grandchildren. He loves to read modern history, garden, drive his classic English sports car, and travel with his wife Darlene in their mini-motorhome.
LUCY and the Hunters of the Mad Trapper is his first novel.
