Kathy Briant is a Calgary writer who studied under W.O. Mitchell at the Banff Centre and is in the process of writing several books.
Her work life is varied and her world very eclectic. Having suffered the loss of her daughter,
Shannon, Kathy is in year three of her grief process. She understands grief first hand and has connected with others who are also suffering. Her hope is that this book will be of assistance in providing easy, simple words to hang onto until the world stops spinning and rights itself a little more so a person can begin to heal.
Kathy is in the process of writing a book about Shannon’s story, which will be published shortly, but in the meantime, hopes this little book will resonate with people.
