Alison Clarke

Alison Clarke was born in England on February 7th, 1970, the same day that Charles Dickens was born one and a half centuries earlier. She has been interested in writing since elementary school, and has maintained this vibrant passion to the present day. Her poetry has been published in The Canadian Writers’ Journal, and Ariel, a journal published by the University of Calgary. Her poetry also has been published in the University of Alberta newspaper, The Gateway, as well as in numerous Stroll of Poets’ anthologies. Alison has done various poetry readings for Stroll of Poets’ events, as well as participating in the Raving Poets’ reading series. Her dream is to complete a Masters In Creative Writing at the University of Alberta. She already has a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Sociology with a minor in French. Alison is also a proud two-time cancer survivor.
