Christine Holubec-Jackson

Christine is a multiple stroke and brain surgery survivor. She is grateful for yet another chance in life and uses her time to give back, help others and encourage everyone to share their story. “We all have a story to tell. Let’s all start sharing. Let’s all learn from each other.” Christine lives in Rural Alberta, Canada with her husband and pup and has three wonderful children.

Her book, 7 Jars of Hot Pickled Peppers, is a work of non-fiction. The events and experiences in this book are portrayed as she remembers them, to the best of her ability. It is a recount of her journey in dealing with her life altering hemorrhagic stroke and coming to terms with the new Christine caused by her brain injury.

In addition to sharing her journey, Christine and a whole team, have started a podcast dealing with the roller coaster ride of surviving a stroke or any life altering event. Real people having real conversations. You can find their podcast through Podbean, iTunes, YouTube, or Google Play, under, “7 Jars of Hot Pickled Peppers”
