Hubert Luken

Born in eastern Germany, right before the beginning of World war II, Hubert was welcomed into a large Catholic family where he learned the lessons of family, faith and survival.

He immigrated to Canada as a young man where he pursued his dream of becoming a priest and earned his Bachelor of Theology. After some soul searching, he decided to leave the priesthood and met a wonderful woman, whom he married.

They currently live in Edmonton where Hubert is very active in the Knights of Columbus as well as his parish bible studies. Hubert’s hobbies include many outdoor activities, reading and wine making.
