Tracy Lee

Tracy Lee has an educational and professional background in the human services field, where she received a Diploma in Social work and gained several years of experience working in government funded agencies. Her inspiration for writing comes from her experiences raising two sons dealing with complex medical, neurological and mental health challenges. She started to record details of these challenges – the doctor visits, surgeries, hospital stays – when her sons were infants. Writing was one of the ways she coped with the stress of being a mother of children with special needs. Tracy continued to write as her boys grew into teenagers, and eventually into wonderful young men. Encouraged by some of her close friends, Tracy began to put her writings together and realized her family’s experiences might help other families and bring awareness of the strength, patience and love it takes to get through these challenges.
