A Listening Bible

The whole foundation of the Christian experience is based on Jesus Christ, for He Himself said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Since this is true, how can we not listen to Jesus on a daily basis? Through the Holy Spirit, we have received the Written Word. Regardless of how small or large, important or insignificant a verse in the Bible may be, there is a message in that verse that Jesus is speaking to each person. In this we see the power of the Word of God. Whether we are in a state of exuberant joy or in deep depression, Jesus is constantly whispering a word to us. The letters of the New Testament are not just the experience of the Apostle Paul, Peter, or John. As we listen to Jesus, these truths become OUR experience for He is speaking to us in the first person: I say to you…” In this journey from Romans to Jude, take time to LISTEN to what Jesus is saying to you.
