GOD encouraged me to write Take Me By the Hand: Deepen your faith journey because, he wants me to share my experiences, to help people to learn what my growth in GOD entailed. What did I go through to get to where Iโm ready to trust him completely? To have an unwavering faith! It doesnโt mean I donโt have times when I lose faith; because, that has happened. But In those situations I manage to recollect myself, and reach out to GOD, and I get right back on track. How? By getting into His word, setting time aside with Him, and listening to His guidance, even if I donโt want to. Thatโs what relationship does for me. Salvation is a gift but relationship is earned. The relationship is what makes him your rock!
GOD wants to use more people in these end times, but studying the Bible, faith, and relationship are a requirement. GOD wants to use me as an example for all of you to gain encouragement from, and to understand that you donโt need to be perfected, but only to walk in righteousness.

โ…In the beginning of my walk with the LORD, I tended to throw a temper tantrum, so to say, when God asked me to do things I didnโt want to do. Do you have that problem? Have you ever heard from the LORD? Would you listen, if He did tell you to do something, even if you didnโt want to do it?
I was still very young in the LORD at this time, and just like a young child, I always wanted to say no. If you think you would never say no to God; there may come a day when you get challenged on that. Just as you behave in difficult situations in everyday life, is the same way you will behave when God challenges you, but thatโs okay; because, God is going to work with you to change that if you will allow Him to. When God works on changing your behaviours, He does it with love. He will push when He needs to push, but Heโs gentle when He needs to be gentle.โ

I found Kathyโs book inspiring but also somewhat convicting. Kathyโs childlike faith and her devotion to Jesus came through strongly in the chapters of her book and through the telling of her own personal experiences. This book will inspire you to draw closer to Jesus in your own personal walk with Him and, it will both convict and challenge you. It will convict you, as it did me, about how unwilling we can be to really step out in faith and truly trust God to lead and direct our lives, and it will challenge you, as it did me, to begin taking steps of faith, even baby steps of faith to increase your trust in Godโs faithfulness and His timely answers to come through for you. I would recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to grow in their relationship with Christ AND to grow in their faith in His willingness and desire to intervene in our lifeโs challenges.

Take Me By the Hand teaches us how when we trust the Father, we are able to overcome tremendous pain and hardship. How when we walk in His ways and obey Him we are allowing Him to do His work not only through us but also within us. This book has been both an eye opener as well as a comfort.
