CILEMO Memoirs of a Canadian Doctor in Africa began as letters that Rob Greidanus, a young Canadian physician, wrote to bring his family, friends and other supporters closer to his experiences on the medical frontlines in Africa: a mission hospital in Kapsowar, northwestern Kenya, a state hospital in Rundu, northern Namibia, and a large referral hospital in Windhoek, Namibia. It is a personal account of his journey—the struggles, sorrows, and joys—but also the story of the people he met there, most of whom call Africa home.

One person from our church even shared a disturbing vision she had suggesting one of us would not be returning from Africa if we left Canada.
