Fits None

In Fits None by Catherine Dubois, a team of computer technicians have been rounded up and threatened into extracting a key code to a treasure, said to contain the secret to immortal life, from a mysterious woman. To complete their task, the group run the woman through a series a computer simulations which feature her as the hero protagonist on a quest for a treasure of her own. As her mind weakens, the team transfer her into different worlds telling parallel stories, in the hope that she stays motivated to complete her journey and avoid crashing the fragile system. To complete her quest, she must enter a code of her own, which the tech team will translate as the code to their treasure, and subsequently, their freedom.
