Heaven Can Wait, One Couple’s Journey is the story of August (Gus) and my (Maureen’s) journey through the valley of the shadow of death” and God’s mercy, grace and faithfulness in the journey. It is also a testimony of the angels with skin” the Lord provided throughout the journey. The book covers the 13 months from Gus’ terminal diagnosis to his passing. This time frame coincides with the poem Heaven Can Wait written by Calvin, our son, a tribute to his Dad as part of the eulogy which appears at the end of the book.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Maureen Haczkewicz was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba. She has experienced life. Her church home is Christcity, formerly Bethesda, where she has become known as The Hug Lady”. She has been an involved congregation member there for 20+ years. She currently resides in Edmonton, Alberta surrounded by her Clan. Heaven Can Wait, One Couples Journey” is her first venture into writing.
