Priscilla Laudon

Priscilla Laudon was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta (Canada), “prairie chicken and chinook country”. Her poetry and prose, definitely plainspoken – catch your attention, carry you beyond the mediocre. In her own words: “life hands us bitter and sweet – and, as we process – insight, applied wisdom and humour overtake our journey. What appeared ‘oh so bitter’ has taken on a sweet fragrance, the value of which becomes greater as years wrinkle by”.

Although the bittersweet journey is her very first book published, Priscilla has had her poems printed in several anthologies, received an “Editor’s Choice Award” from the National Library of Poetry for outstanding achievement in poetry.
