I know that not everyone has the time or opportunity to do something to help the homeless on inner city streets but by purchasing and reading this book you allow their voices to be heard, their stories told, and I pray that you will gain an understanding of those who live and die in inner cities all across North America. You will read about the night I met a young girl who tripped over a dead body while escaping from a killer; the time a tattooed criminal was about to rob someone but instead gets into the vehicle beside me; and the night a young man who was jumped by a group of thugs, now bleeding, tells me he doesn’t want to die as we wait for the ambulance to arrive.
