In 2004, under sedation undergoing open heart surgery (5 bypass), Pastor Glen S. R. Carlson envisioned he was at the gates of Heaven. At that time, Jesus appeared and said to him, “Your time is not now, for I want you to listen to My voice through My written Word.”
When Glen awoke, he could remember the reality of the vision and began contemplating its meaning. Even though he does not claim to be a writer, he began with greater insight listening for and writing down the voice of Jesus in each verse throughout the letters of the New Testament.
It has taken 10 years to complete the Letters from Romans to Jude. Following this, Glen was led by the Holy Spirit to begin listening to the voice of Jesus in the 150 Psalms, thus making each Psalm Messianic in nature.
