Over two years ago now, an unexplainable change occurred. When I sat down to journal my thoughts as I intentionally sought to sit with Jesus in prayer and practice His presence, my pen would begin to flow. I sensed the Holy Spirit guiding our conversation and quite often I could not write fast enough to record everything that was said. Yet, somehow, I was able to annotate what I felt Jesus wanted recorded. From the first gathering of these inspired journal collections came the book New Day: A Revelation to a Hidden Prophetic Voice.
Around the time that the book was published, I began to follow the Spirit’s lead and pay attention to the daily scripture offering that would come up on my bible app. I not only pressed into the highlighted verse(s), but also spent time meditating on the entire chapter or psalm that the verse was found in. I would then make a purposeful effort to practice the presence of God in my prayer time. Our LORD was faithful to tie what I read with what He wanted to say each day, as only God can do. And you will see this transformation as you work your way through the book.
