The Farmer Takes a Wife

The Farmer Takes a Wife by Keith Brower is a familiar tune that we’ve all heard sometime in our lives. The stories contained in this book recount his growing up years including what it was like to raised on a dairy farm in east central Alberta. Incorporated are tales of different happenings during his education and of life in general with the underlying theme of the meeting and marrying of his soul-mate Aileen. It is not unlike many stories of young guys his age—the good and the not so good that make up the fabric of our existence during our time in the ‘sun’. Hopefully the reader will enjoy the telling of these tales, and perhaps the stories will bring smiles to faces as their own stories are recalled.
