About the Author
Sharon Wallish Murphy is a third-generation green thumb. The Wallish family has been growing plants in the Edmonton area since 1919. Today, Wallish Greenhouses is all about growing annuals and perennials for everyday garden lovers, and creating beautiful hanging baskets and containers for people to enjoy. They welcome classes of children for tours each spring and hope to pass on the love of growing plants to a new generation.
About the Illustrator
Wanda Benterud lives and creates in a hamlet called Collingwood Cove in Strathcona County. She’s an artist with interests in graphic design, illustration and fine art. She’s also been active designing and building props and sets for theatre productions, along with many other interesting adventures, while raising four daughters. This is her first children’s book in over 25 years and she has thoroughly enjoyed working on this project.
