In When we were young and beautiful, author Roger Lambert states that every human heart comes equipped to receive and give love if it chooses to do so.
If love is chosen then the sun will be brighter, the sky bluer, the clouds whiter and fluffier. The night sky will be completely full of twinkling stats, the moons face will be silver and smiling. The snow in winter will sparkle and squeak under foot, warmth will come in a smile from a Lover.
There will be days of rain to join and heart aches but like any storm there will be an end and the sun will come again. If it is not but a rain shower and truly a storm and black clouds shroud the sun then this too must be tolerated. If love is to return the heart must remain strong and positive.
When love is lost and not to return this must be dealt with. One must choose to let loose the heart strings and search out for more love or armour itself forever against this assault. Look to the future and not wallow in the past but remember the good that came from that love.
