This is a working book. Its intent is to give you space to respond. Space is left where you can lay down your own thoughts. This book was inspired by two sources. First, Mary Lou Kownacki’s Between two Souls: Conversations with Ryokan, itself a response to Bhuddist poems from the 19th century. Second, the Alterwalk and Interface Worship series led by Jim Robertson with the support of Pam Spence-Thomas, Lori Youngman, Kathleen Pate and others. The goal of interface worship is to give creative space to the worshipers to glorify God in their own words, prayer, painting and meditation. This book intends to do the same thing for you, but on paper.
