Impertinent Thoughts on a Changing World contains a series of Oxonian-style essays, which have been published in the Commentary section of the St. Albert Gazette editorial page approximately every six weeks during the period 2014 to 2017.

This collection features essays on current events and their impacts on political, social, scientific, cultural and daily living from an Albertan and Canadian viewpoint. The articles reference the influence, or lack thereof, of historical precedents. The scope of topics range from local to international events and chronicles the sequential changes of issues and public attitudes of the world that we live in.

This is the fourth edition of the authorโ€™s writings. They were previously published under the title Commentaries, More Commentaries and Still More Commentaries. The first article, published in February 2003, was entitled “Marijuana – The Fun Drug.”
