Excerpt from Two Worlds Together (2nd Edition) by Rita Makkannaw:
“Sometimes it’s hard to go to the City
The way people look is such a pity
Not a smile to be found
As they rush around
I wonder why?
I think they’ll cry.
Sometimes it’s hard to go to the City
The way the air smells is such a pity
With cars going here
And cars going there
I wonder why?
They drive by.”
